Emirates is expanding its flight schedule ahead of the upcoming Eid Al Fitr holiday, adding 17 flights to key destinations across the Middle East and GCC between 26 March and 6 April 2025. The move comes as the airline anticipates a surge in travel demand, with over 371,000 passengers expected to fly with the carrier during the festive period. To accommodate the expected increase in passenger traffic, Emirates is enhancing connectivity on several regional routes.

The airline will operate six additional flights to and from Amman, five more between Dammam and Dubai, four extra services from Jeddah, and two increased frequencies on the Kuwait route. The expanded flight schedule aims to provide greater travel flexibility for customers across the region, particularly for those seeking to visit Dubai one of the most popular destinations during Eid. The additional capacity also supports onward travel to long-haul destinations across Asia, Europe, Africa, and North America.

Among the cities expected to see increased traffic are Bangkok and Phuket in Thailand, London and other UK cities, several U.S. gateways, and destinations in South Africa. The expanded services also cater to passengers visiting family and friends in cities such as Mumbai, Karachi, and Cairo. The airline continues to see strong demand during holiday periods, and the Eid break is traditionally one of the busiest travel times of the year.

Emirates has stated that the temporary increase in services will help meet peak demand while maintaining a smooth travel experience for passengers. This latest schedule boost underscores the airline’s commitment to supporting regional mobility and offering flexible options during major holidays. Emirates remains one of the largest international carriers in the region, connecting travelers to more than 140 destinations globally through its hub in Dubai. – By MENA Newswire News Desk.
